1997
MAITLAND, FL The first STNY and the inspiration for the others. Thanks Kenna!
1998
MAITLAND, FL The encore was just as great but the grand hotel doesn't exist any more.
1999
CRYSTAL RIVER, FL The Plantation Inn was great. Pat got a massage. But the great Izaak Walton Lodge burned down in the spring of 2000.
2000
Hutchinson Island

Among the long-distance travelers were Brian (we knew him as Barney) Evers and wife, Juliane Day-Evers of Studio City, CA; Gary and Sharon Vergho of Sunnydale, CA; Bob Wilkerson and his wife, of Colorado Springs, CO; Bob and Sue Shalley of Denver, CO; Les Cunningham of Waterville, OR; and still-somewhat newlyweds Burdette Lamar and Cheryl Brown Lamar of Houston, TX. The East Coast contingent included Jim Strickland, now living in Pikesville, NC; Jeannie (Lay) Nicklos of Sewell, NJ; and Neil Estes and Jack Whicker, both of Atlanta.

But, the star of STNY 2000 was clearly "Coach" Harold (Hal) Lannom, invited to join us by Jim Strickland. Coach Lannom, who still does work for Civitan International, and his wife came up from Miami Springs Saturday to join us for dinner and our Sunday morning breakfast. Lannom's presence gave our graduate jocks yet another reason (as if they needed one) to trade tales of their HHS gridiron triumphs and follies.

2001
NAPLES The Vanderbilt Inn in Naples was the location for this STNY. Phil Giberson arranged a tour of the Edison/Ford Museum.
2002
ST. AUGUSTINE The Hampton Inn was the place for lodging and the restaurant was the Columbia. This was the soggiest of all the mini-reunions but we had a great time any way. The weather did clear up for a great side trip to the historical city of St. Augustine.
2003
ST. AUGUSTINE The Hampton Inn was again the place for lodging. The dinner Saturday night at The Raintree Restaurant was a hit. Kenna and other's did some "surfing" and the Fiddler's Green Restaurant on the beach across had great seafood and drinks and was very convenient
2004

2005
COCOA, FL The Cocoa Holiday Inn Express was the hotel. The Black Tulip Restaurant in Cocoa Village was the restaurant and it was outstanding. Many took the opportunity to visit the Kennedy Space Center.
2006
Hutchinson Island The Hutchinson Island Marriott Beach Resort & Marina was the hotel and The Dolphin Bar was the restaurant. Many thanks to Marty Aaron and Sandra Patrick who were instrumental in making our 2006 HHS 1960 Same Time Next Year gathering a success.
2007
Daytona Beach You missed a lot of fun and fellowship if you weren't in Daytona this STNY. Thank you Fred and Janice Krumm for the arrangements at the Hampton Inn and our Saturday dinner at Caribbean Jacks in Daytona Beach.
2008
Mount Dora, FL At the Sunday morning meeting it was decided to meet in Mount Dora, FL (northwest of Orlando) at a new Hampton Inn checked out by Sandy Shell Hatos. Click here: Hampton Inn Mount Dora - Photo Gallery
More on this later. Mark you calendars for June 27, 28, & 29, 2008.
2009
Sarasota, Fl
It was proposed and approved for our group to donate $1,000 to this scholarship. Jeanie Lay Nicklos suggested the Sarasota area for STNY 2009 and a willingness to organize the event. There were no other places suggested or offers to organize, so the consensus was for Sarasota.
2010
(Our 50th!)
Marco Island
After breakfast on Sunday morning we retired to the hospitality room for our usual meeting to decide where we will be next year. Phil Giberson asked for suggestions and then mentioned that he and Marty Aaron would like to proposed Marco Island (for which they would take charge). Everyone agreed that would be a great place for 2010. That will be our 50th Anniversary and we would like to plan something special. Jeanie Lay Nicklos volunteered to take care of the door prizes. I’m sure Phil, Marty, and Jeanie would be open to suggestions and offers of assistance. MAP
2011
The Villages

The STNY 2011 group had a great time mixing and mingling. The Villages is a lovely place, quaint but busy. We walked most places. Our group included the regulars and some new faces. We missed those who were unable to attend.

2012
The Villages It seems that the consensus was to come back to The Villages. So mark you 2012 calendars for Friday, June 22 through Sunday, June 24. That is the weekend after Father’s Day.

The Villages

It seems that the consensus was to come back to The Villages. So mark you 2013 calendars for Friday, June 21 through Sunday, June 23. That is the weekend after Father’s Day.
